Fresh Logistics has identified the need from the members of the food and drink forum and the Pharma forum (East Midlands Development Agency) that small producers desperately struggle to gain a 'route to market' in a cost effective manner to allow them to compete with the larger players within the industry.

With this in mind, Fresh Logistics have developed an innovative model that can open the national and international market up to even the smallest producers. Our business model works! We have sent many chilled and frozen product throughout the world from 10kgs of ice-cream to Shanghai, 100kgs of pies to Jamaica and 300 kgs of Garlic Mayonnaise to Oslo as examples.

The model is simple:

You call us with all the details for the delivery:

Date the product is ready, collection address, weight, type of refrigeration (frozen/chilled).

We will give you the costs and lead times (usually overnight) and we will arrange the collection in our refrigerated vehicles.

When the product is collected it will be returned to our licenced premises for dry ice packing. We will pack the product in a thermal container, pack with dry ice to ensure integrity, book the delivery with the carrier and despatch.

Your product can be tracked via our carriers track n trace software and you will be notified as soon as the delivery has been made.

Alternatively, we can send you a thermal container packed with dry ice, you pack your own product in dry ice and our carriers will collect the next day for delivery the day after – please give us a call to arrange; 0800 612 6512 or email order@freshlogistics.co.uk.

For European or World deliveries, we would collect your product in our state of the art vehicles, pack in dry ice, arrange the customs documentation and organise delivery to the door at your required destination. For larger consignments either we can split down to 20kgs consignments or deliver up to 26 pallets on scheduled Artics or Reefer containers.

We can also, if required, receipt, store, pick and deliver your products.
